The shards of grief are like the countless reflections in a broken mirror, each one holding a memory of the person who has passed. For me, it is the vivid moments of Matthew’s life: the joy of his birth, the wonder of his first steps, the resilience he showed in his journey with epilepsy, and the challenges that life brought him. He faced it all with a strength that inspired us, and his love touched everyone who knew him.
Now, those shards have come together, forming the mosaic of a life fully lived—a reflection of love and courage. As I look back, I see a whole picture filled with both deep sadness and immense gratitude, remembering Matthew and the indelible mark he left on our lives.
